This is for an Eligibility list, we do not currently have any positions available.

Please read the applicant instructions first and follow them carefully.  This is a highly competitive process and those who can not follow instructions will not be invited to participate in the selection process.

All necessary information is contained in the application instructions.  Please do not call or e-mail with additional questions.

 

Complete application packets must be mailed or delivered to the City prior to the February 26th deadline.  No e-mail applications will be accepted.  

The Minimum Qualifications are as Follows:

• You must be 20 years of age and not more than 35.

• You must be a United States Citizen.

• You must have a High School Degree (or GED).

• You must be an individual of upstanding moral character with no felony convictions.

• You must be able to meet minimum physical standards as established by the Illinois Police Training and Standards board. 

Interested persons must deliver a complete application packet to City Hall prior to 5 PM February 26th, 2010. The forms can be obtained here or we will send you an application packet via US mail.
