My name is Greg Edwards. I have been a Police Officer with the City of Genoa for 6 years. I spent one of these years with the Illinois State Police/North Central Narcotics Task Force as an undercover narcotics officer.
I am currently one of our Department's State Certified Gang Crime Specialist, Field Training Officer, and Bike Patrol Officer.
Some of the most recent training I have attended includes Critical Incident Management, Advanced Reid Interrogation School, and Supervisor School.
Our Mission
We Provide Service, Protection, Leadership, and Guidance to the citizens of Genoa in an effort to eliminate fear of crime, enhance the sense of security our citizens feel, and make our community a more pleasant place to live and work.
