Robert Smith

Robert Smith has been working with the Genoa Police Department
since 1995. His previous employment included the Boone County
Sheriff's Department and the U.S. Army. He has been around the
City of
Robert was
promoted to Sergeant in 2000. He currently serves as a Patrol
Sergeant and Evidence Custodian for the department. He is also a
Juvenile Officer and along with Ofc. Hathcoat, helps handle the
majority of the juvenile court referrals. Robert has been tasked
with the management and updating of the department files during
the accreditation process.
Robert is a
member of the American Legion #337 of
Robert work's
with a good bunch of professional individuals and encourages
quality and integrity in the workplace. One of the many people
that Robert look's up to is Henry Ford, who encourages good hard
work. Some of Mr. Ford's quotes are: "Don't find fault, find a
remedy" and "Quality means doing it right when no one is
looking".
